Sharodage Quarter Horses is a small family run stud situated within the New Forest. Our focus is to breed quality Quarter horses that can turn a hoof to anything!
After many years of riding Arabs English I had a serious riding accident, so I had to redirect what I wanted to do. That's when I went to a Western Clinic held by some friends and that was it- I was hooked! It felt so natural and comfortable, I didn't know why I hadn't done this years ago.
We then got our first Quarter horse, Zanagay of which everything is based around.
Not stopping there- with a liking for all things colourful we imported MHS MR LYLE LOVE HINT our first stallion, who is now owned by David Deptford. Lyle is very much missed by all.
Importing horses becomes addictive and we have since imported Quincys Black Te and purchased Yes Im Dun In Lace a Dual Registered mare who I have high hopes for. Then to top it all a Champagne Colt The Drinks R On Me who when old enough will stand at stud.
To add insult to injury I`ve since had another riding accident which has left me only able to ride every now and then. However I will continue to show in Halter and breed quality horses for any discipline, my children Robyn and Danielle will do the riding side of things and I plan to get a trainer to compete my horses.
